About The Position

Smiles for Kids in Boise is hiring an energetic, compassionate, and dependable Dental Assistant to provide outstanding care to children and their caregivers. The role focuses on helping young patients feel comfortable, supporting caregivers and doctors, and creating a fun, engaging, kid-friendly experience. The position is full-time, with 30 or more hours per week, 8-hour daytime shifts, and no nights. Starting pay depends on experience. State licensure or certification may be required depending on location.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• X-Ray, CDA, RDA, EFDA, or EDDA certification.
• Experience with Denticon software or iTero scanners.
• Graduation from a dental assisting school.
• Experience working with children and creating positive patient experiences.
