About The Position

The Senior Data Scientist selects analytical modeling techniques for structured and complex datasets and develops customized analytical models to solve business problems. The role applies feature relevance and selection, exploratory data analysis, advanced statistical methods, and modeling approaches including graphical models, Bayesian inference, natural language processing, computer vision, neural networks, support vector machines, and random forests. It uses multivariate calculus, machine-learning statistical foundations, advanced Excel, R and Python, and classical and numerical optimization methods. The position conducts statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, statistical inference, trend analysis, and cluster analysis; defines and refines model features; and designs and executes experiments. It evaluates model fit, tuning, validation, accuracy, robustness, and performance using metrics such as chi-square tests, ROC curves, and root mean square error, selecting evaluation metrics based on model objectives and business requirements. The role supports production deployment and operational sustainability of analytical models, including model evaluation, scalability, and long-term maintenance. It also develops solutions and application features using SQL, Java, C++, and Python, and applies software and security testing methodologies to ensure code quality, functionality, and security.
