About The Position

Full Visibility is seeking a Mid-Level Data Scientist to work in Huntsville, Alabama. The role uses big data technologies and data science models to analyze large datasets and produce valuable insights. It involves developing approaches to handling, analyzing, and using large volumes of data; exploring issues with data handling, search, and retention; addressing complex data and storage problems; and designing software coding to improve data search processes. The Data Scientist also designs, tests, and validates data and data processes, then reports results with actionable recommendations. The position emphasizes data science over visualization and analytics. Candidates must possess an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Depending on assignment, selected candidates may be subject to Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph examinations after starting and must be able to obtain and maintain any required CI Polygraph eligibility throughout employment.

Requirements

• At least six years of experience in a related field.
• Demonstrated experience with data analytics, data science, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Ability to complete a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph examination as required by assignment and to obtain and maintain any required CI Polygraph eligibility throughout employment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Skills and experience with Python, Apache Spark, R, Databricks, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning (ML), predictive and decision modeling, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and data wrangling and preparation.
