About The Position

Full Visibility is seeking a Mid-Level Data Scientist to work in Huntsville, Alabama. The role uses big data technologies and data science models to analyze large datasets and generate valuable insights. It focuses more on data science than on visualization and analytics.

The Data Scientist will explore challenges in data handling, search, and retention; solve complex data and storage problems; develop software code to improve data-search processes; and design, test, and validate data quality and data processes. The role also includes analyzing and reporting results with actionable recommendations. Candidates must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and be able to obtain and maintain any required Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph eligibility. Selected candidates may be subject to CI Polygraph examinations based on their assignment after their start date.

Requirements

• At least six years of experience in a related field.
• Demonstrated experience with data analytics, data science, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any CI Polygraph eligibility required for the assignment; selected candidates are subject to CI Polygraph examinations after their start date based on assignment.
• Experience with Python, Apache Spark, R, Databricks, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning (ML), predictive and decision modeling, Amazon Web Services (AWS), data wrangling, and data preparation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
