About The Position
Simple Mining operates large-scale cryptocurrency mining sites, and we’re looking for someone who can keep up in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, on-site position in Osage, IA. No remote work. You must be able to commute daily. Must be living in Iowa to be considered for this role. Starting pay: $18/hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of hands-on or technical experience
- Basic understanding of networks and IP addresses
- Comfortable learning new systems and entering data accurately
- Reliable, self-motivated, and willing to do physical work
- Must be living in Iowa to be considered for this role.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ASIC miners or similar equipment
- Familiarity with Foreman or BTC Tools
- Network setup or troubleshooting experience
Responsibilities
- Track and close work tickets quickly
- Prioritize machines that need attention
- Maintain accurate records in Foreman and other systems
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
- Read miner logs and resolve performance problems
- Handle overheating, replace filters, and keep machines running efficiently
- Monitor machines using Foreman and BTC Tools
- Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues
- Set up IPs and bring new miners online
- Assist with setup of miners and pods
- Keep the site clean, organized, and secure
- Support and train team members as needed
