About The Position

Valce Talent Solutions is seeking a motivated Data Center Field Technician I to support data center infrastructure and telecommunications operations in Las Vegas, Nevada. This opportunity is ideal for an early-career technician looking to develop hands-on experience in data center operations, network infrastructure, equipment installation, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in data center operations, telecommunications, IT infrastructure, or a related technical field.
• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent practical experience.
• Basic understanding of network infrastructure, structured cabling, and rack-mounted equipment.
• Familiarity with fiber optic and copper cabling systems.
• Basic knowledge of networking equipment, including switches and routers.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel to assigned sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rack-and-stack installations, equipment replacements, and physical infrastructure maintenance.
• Support fiber optic and copper cabling installations, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Perform basic hardware inspections, equipment staging, and connectivity checks.
• Assist with network equipment installations, including routers, switches, and telecommunications hardware.
• Support site surveys, equipment deployments, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Document maintenance activities, site inspections, and technical findings.
• Coordinate with senior technicians, network teams, and onsite vendors.
• Follow established procedures, safety standards, and operational guidelines.
