About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join a construction team. The role involves operating cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment efficiently and safely across construction sites. The position contributes to large-scale projects in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating cranes in construction or industrial settings.
- Valid crane operator certification or license as required by local regulations.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and lifting plans.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle demanding work conditions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate cranes and other heavy lifting equipment in accordance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Inspect cranes before each shift to ensure they function properly and comply with safety requirements.
- Coordinate with site managers, signalers, and other team members to carry out lifting plans.
- Load and unload materials, machinery, and supplies accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of crane operations, inspections, and maintenance.
- Follow safety protocols and immediately report hazards or malfunctions.
- Assist with setting up and dismantling crane equipment as needed.
