About The Position

BlueScope is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Material Handler to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, or other mobile equipment. The role involves receiving inventory, loading and unloading materials, and staging and moving raw materials and finished goods within or near a plant, yard, warehouse, or work site. Candidates with prior operating experience and those eager to learn are welcome. Responsibilities

• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods onto or from pallets, industrial racks, trailers, trucks, and similar equipment.
• Transport materials from storage or production areas and place them in designated areas.
• Safely use lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or parts.
• Participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Track material inventory, perform machine maintenance, and support housekeeping and organizational standards, including 5-S practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
