About The Position

The Material Handler 1 sorts and stages glass for production on first shift. The role moves materials, primarily glass, using vacuum lift assist equipment, manual lifting, and mobile carts to support the production process. The employee understands schedules and inventory requirements to keep production on schedule, performs preventative maintenance such as cleaning and inspecting equipment, and applies inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials and products.

Requirements

• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write, perform basic math, and read a tape measure.
• Punctuality and excellent attendance.
• Availability for overtime and emergency work.

Responsibilities
