Packing Crane Operator

About The Position

Hydro Extrusions is an aluminium extrusion business with around 100 production sites in 40 countries and 20,000 employees. The Packing Crane Operator prioritizes safety while moving aluminum extrusions by overhead crane, maintaining material flow in the facility, and completing and interpreting batch tickets. The role requires the ability to work any shift and in a non-climate-controlled environment. Crane and mobile equipment certification is required, or the employee must be able to attain certification through Hydro training under the Mobile Equipment Policy. The typical schedule is a 12-hour continental night shift, 6 PM to 6 AM. Shift hours may vary based on business needs. The starting rate is $23.38 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential.

Requirements

Ability to work any shift.
Crane and mobile equipment certification, or ability to attain certification through Hydro training as specified by the Mobile Equipment Policy.
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of manufacturing experience.
