About The Position
Ascend Staffing is hiring a Packing Operator in South Houston, Texas, at $14 per hour. The role supports daily production by preparing, palletizing, and moving materials. It also includes plant clean-up and maintaining organized, safe work areas. Work is outdoors year-round, including in hot weather, and may involve connecting and disconnecting railcars while following site procedures and safety direction. No previous experience is required. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, with some weekends and occasional early arrivals or late stays.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Spanish is required; English is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors year-round, especially in hot weather.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, with some weekends and occasional early arrivals or late stays.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
- No previous experience is required.
