About The Position
A facility near Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a Controller to join its accounting team. This is a full-time, permanent position scheduled Monday through Friday. The Controller oversees the accounting team, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, and payroll. The role prepares and manages financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory documentation while supporting compliance with healthcare and Medicare requirements. The Controller also supports hospital leadership through operational improvement initiatives, strategic collaboration, and participation in governance and partnership activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.
- At least 5 years of hospital accounting experience.
- Experience with labor management, RE, contract negotiation, and utilization review.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the accounting team, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, and payroll.
- Prepare and manage financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory documentation.
- Support compliance with healthcare and Medicare requirements.
