About The Position
A well-established Data Center and Building Automation contractor is seeking a BAS Controls Construction Manager in Ashburn, VA. This role will manage BAS construction, integration, and retrofit initiatives across mission-critical and commercial facilities. Requirements
- Previous experience overseeing BAS-related construction or integration projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of automation, control systems, and HVAC infrastructure.
- Effective leadership skills and the ability to manage subcontractors and internal teams.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
Nice To Haves
- Background working in mission-critical or data center environments is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Guide and oversee BAS retrofit, integration, and construction projects within mission-critical environments.
- Manage budgets, schedules, contractor performance, and project execution.
- Promote safe construction practices and ensure compliance with industry codes and regulations.
- Supervise building automation, HVAC, and facility system upgrade initiatives.
- Review plans, schematics, control diagrams, and technical construction documents.
- Coordinate project activities with engineers, vendors, clients, and key stakeholders.
- Diagnose and resolve field issues, providing solutions to construction challenges.
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule while maintaining high-quality standards.
