About The Position
Urban Animal Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Founding Medical Director Veterinarian to build and lead a new practice in Houston, Texas. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the hospital's vision, culture, and medical focus, whether that involves developing a premier general practice, expanding surgical and dental services, incorporating urgent care, or creating a specialized niche. The position comes with an established client base, advanced equipment, and the freedom to foster a collaborative team environment where staff enjoy coming to work. This is an opportunity for an experienced veterinarian ready for leadership or a seasoned medical director to create a practice aligned with their passion for great medicine and exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- Experienced veterinarian ready for a leadership opportunity or a current Medical Director.
- Ability to practice high-quality medicine.
- Willingness to mentor and lead a team.
- Desire to shape hospital culture and vision.

- Experience in developing general practices.
