About The Position
A well-established medical facility in the Jacksonville, Florida area is seeking a Chief Executive Officer for an immediate hire. This is a full-time, direct-hire position at an inpatient, acute care rehabilitation facility, performed fully on-site Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Chief Executive Officer will develop a work environment and culture that encourages the hospital and its staff to exceed their objectives. The role oversees hospital operations and evaluates the hospital’s performance, manages nine direct reports, and leads a total team of 185 employees. The CEO is also responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and facility policies, and participating in marketing the facility’s services to the local community.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of recent experience as a CEO, COO, VP of Operations, or Executive VP in a short-term acute care, long-term acute care, or rehabilitation hospital.
Responsibilities
- Develop a work environment and culture that encourages the hospital and staff to surpass their objectives.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies established for the facility.
- Participate in marketing services to the local community.
- Oversee hospital operations and assess hospital performance.
- Manage nine direct reports and lead a team of 185 total employees.
