About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience
• 5+ years in an executive or senior finance role with a complex organization
• Strong strategic planning, organizational leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and utilize data to improve outcomes and inform decision-making
• Bachelor’s degree with a major in business administration, public policy, urban planning, finance, economics, or related field.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree preferred
• Experience in nonprofit, public sector, healthcare, education, housing, or other complex mission-driven organizations preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the Executive Team and strategic thought partner to the President and CEO
• Partner with the President and CEO and Board of Directors to align organizational resources with PPL’s mission, vision, strategic priorities, and financial goals
• Provide strategic business analysis and recommendations to support organizational planning, decision-making, and long-term sustainability
• Lead the organization’s financial strategy and operations, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cash management, financial performance, and affordable housing/real estate development activities
• Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and strengthen financial systems, controls, and reporting to ensure long-term sustainability and mission success
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for Information Technology and Enterprise Data Management functions
• Ensure technology and data strategies support organizational effectiveness, innovation, operational excellence, and strategic goals
• Build trusted relationships with Board members, financial institutions, auditors, community stakeholders, and funding partners
• Serve as lead staff to the Finance and Audit Committee of the Board, providing strategic financial insights, facilitating effective governance
• Represent PPL with external stakeholders and strategic partners, including financial institutions, public and private funding partners, policymakers, and community organizations
