About The Position
Metz Culinary Management is seeking a Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager who is passionate about food, service, and leadership. The ideal candidate will be a culinary leader with a mentoring management style, contributing to a culture of fun, creativity, and growth. This role requires strong kitchen leadership experience, preferably in a contract dining food service setting (hospital, school, college, senior living, or corporate dining). A strong supervisor with solid culinary training, ready for the next step, would be ideal. The company is one of the fastest-growing in the industry, employing over 7,000 team members dedicated to excellence in onsite dining and support services.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of supervisory experience or Sous Chef experience.
- High volume background.
- Impeccable communication skills.
- Restaurant management knowledge.
- Thorough knowledge of menu implementation.
- Catering experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a Contract Dining Food Service setting (Hospital, School, College, Senior Living, or Corporate Dining accounts).
- Culinary Degree.
