Red House aims to be New England’s leader in high-end residential design and construction, with a vision to reach $38M revenue, 2–3 studios, and approximately 70 employees by 2038. This growth necessitates a robust finance and administration function. The Finance, HR & Administration Manager is responsible for the operational engine of this function, overseeing the day-to-day finance, HR, and administrative systems that enable the company to deliver the Red House Experience. While the Controller handles financial reporting and technical accounting, and the CEO provides strategic financial direction, this role ensures the precise, careful, and thorough operation of cash, people, compliance, and administrative systems. The position is crucial for maintaining Clarity through transparent information and reliable systems, fostering Trust through confidentiality, accuracy, and evenhanded service, and demonstrating Care through an employee experience that reflects Red House’s commitment to its people. This role is accountable for the operational integrity of Red House’s finance, HR, and administrative functions, managing transactional finance, HR operations and compliance, employee experience, and daily studio environment management. The manager ensures accurate and timely inputs for the Controller’s reporting and the CEO’s strategic decisions. Beyond execution, the role is expected to contribute to business office strategy, identifying opportunities for process improvement, cost discipline, and systems evolution as Red House expands. This is a development role, designed to increase in scope and seniority over time, with a clear path to Director of Finance, HR & Administration, eventually becoming a peer to the Director of Operations on the Leadership Team as the company scales towards its Horizon ‘38 vision.
