About The Position

Requirements

• Associate's Degree preferred or High School diploma/GED and two years of related experience required.
• Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as general office skills.
• Must be able to read and write the English language.
• Valid NYS Driver's license that meets agency standards and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly/monthly Medicaid billings and follow-up with denials
• Manage SSA/SSI, Medicaid eligibility requirements, and food stamps for residential participants, including mail notifications
• Assist with set up and maintenance of participant bank accounts.
• Meet all Agency, Federal, State, and County Reporting requirements as established.
• Assists with Social Security reviews and disability forms for individuals.
• Assists with Social Security reviews for individuals.
• Establish and follow up on status of trusts , including NYSARC and ABLE.
• Applies and monitors rep payee status.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
