The Behavioral Technician is responsible for ensuring behavior management programs are consistently implemented for people served. This role involves establishing and maintaining therapeutic relationships, following treatment plan goals, and collaborating with families and treatment teams to effectively implement behavior management techniques. The technician will promote safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors, review progress objectively, and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Additionally, the role includes completing incident reports, reviewing daily updates for individuals served, implementing programs, training staff, scheduling and preparing for leisure activities, and participating in mandatory trainings and clinical meetings.
