Behavioral Technician Jobs

Devereux's Pocono Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) as an Independent Contractor to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and adolescents. The BHT will implement individualized behavioral intervention plans, support children in community settings as part of IBHS services, and work alongside parents, teachers, or primary caregivers. This role serves children and adults with developmental disabilities in Carbon, Lackawanna, Monroe, Pike, and Wayne counties in NEPA. The BHT is responsible for supporting children in the community and services are not a substitution for primary care givers; they cannot babysit, diaper, toilet, or transport children. The BHT must always be in the presence of a parent, teacher, or primary caregiver.
