About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of coaching experience as an Assistant or Head Coach preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of the rules and skills in the sport.
• Program centered.
• Specific skills and exhibits good sportsmanship.
• Knowledge of VHSL rules.
• Works well with children.
• Previously competed at the college level, club team or professional level.
• Submit a standard on-line application.
• Include two letters of reference.
• Include a recent TB test or screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in all aspects of the boys' basketball program.
• Ensure knowledge of basketball rules and skills.
• Promote a program-centered approach.
• Exhibit good sportsmanship.
• Work well with children.
• Adhere to VHSL rules.
