About The Position

Roseville High School is seeking a novice boys basketball coach for the 2026-27 season. The ideal candidate has two years of high school basketball coaching experience within the last three years, at any level, and can mentor student-athletes in academic accountability and sportsmanship. The coach should maintain clear, professional communication with school administrators, varsity head coaches, and parents.

Applicants must meet all Roseville Joint Union High School District (RJUHSD) coach clearance and certification requirements. First Aid and CPR/AED certifications must be completed through hands-on training; online courses are not accepted. Applicants must submit a letter of introduction and a resume that includes two to three references.

Requirements

• Current CPR/AED certification obtained through hands-on training; online courses are not accepted.
• First Aid card obtained through hands-on training; online courses are not accepted.
• Coaching certificate.
• NFHS Concussion certificate.
• NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest certificate.
• NFHS Heat Illness certificate.
• Knowledge of adolescent psychology.
• Valid TB test.
• Fingerprint clearance.
• Completion of Keenan courses and all other RJUHSD-mandated certificates.
• Meet all coach clearance certifications and requirements stated on the RJUHSD website.
• Submit a letter of introduction.
• Submit a resume that includes two to three references.

Nice To Haves
