Coach - Assistant Boys JV Basketball @ Roseville High School (2026-27)
About The Position
Roseville High School is seeking an Assistant Boys JV Basketball Coach for the 2026–27 school year. The ideal candidate has two years of high school basketball coaching experience within the last three years, at any level, and can mentor student-athletes in academic accountability and sportsmanship. The coach is expected to communicate clearly and professionally with school administrators, varsity head coaches, and parents. Applicants must meet RJUHSD coach clearance and certification requirements. CPR/AED and First Aid certifications must be earned through hands-on training; online courses are not accepted. A letter of introduction is preferred, and applicants should provide a resume with two to three coaching references.
Requirements
- Current CPR/AED certification from a hands-on training course; online courses are not accepted.
- First Aid card from a hands-on training course; online courses are not accepted.
- Coaching certificate.
- NFHS Concussion Certificate.
- NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate.
- NFHS Heat Illness Certificate.
- Knowledge of adolescent psychology.
- Valid TB test.
- Fingerprint clearance.
- Completion of Keenan courses and all other RJUHSD-mandated certificates.
- All coach clearance certifications and requirements listed on the RJUHSD website.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of high school basketball coaching experience within the last three years, at any level.
- Proven ability to mentor student-athletes on academic accountability and sportsmanship and communicate professionally with school administrators, varsity head coaches, and parents.
- Letter of introduction.
