About The Position
Goddard Middle School is hiring an Assistant Boys Basketball Coach for the 2026–2027 school year. The coach instructs student-athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition, while fostering skill development, teamwork, and appreciation for the sport. The role supports teaching and modeling sportsmanship, building school pride, and increasing student and community involvement. The position will remain open until filled.
Requirements
- Valid teaching certification or the ability to obtain KSHSAA Rule 10 certification.
- Fundamental knowledge of the assigned sport or activity.
- Ability to use a variety of instructional methods to teach sport-specific skills and objectives.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
