About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio and visual equipment for events, meetings, and conferences. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for audio and visual technology, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form (Form I-9) upon hire.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in audio visual technology
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of audio and visual equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate audio and visual equipment for events, meetings, and conferences
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Collaborate with event planners and presenters to ensure their audio and visual needs are met
- Provide technical support during events as needed
- Maintain and repair equipment as necessary
- Stay up to date with new audio and visual technologies and equipment
