Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on AV installation experience in commercial environments
  • Strong working knowledge of low-voltage wiring, AV rack builds, display and speaker mounting, camera installation, and signal flow
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

  • Install, terminate, test, and commission commercial audiovisual systems, including displays, projectors, projection screens, speakers, microphones, DSPs, cameras, control systems, LED video walls, digital signage, and conferencing platforms.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, AV schematics, signal flow diagrams, and scope documentation to ensure installations are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Pull, route, label, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling, including category cable, fiber optic, speaker wire, and coaxial cabling.
  • Rack, stack, and dress AV equipment racks following industry best practices and SCS quality standards.
  • Configure and troubleshoot AV hardware, software, and network-connected devices.
  • Perform system testing, quality control checks, and commissioning activities to verify functionality and ensure a seamless end-user experience.
  • Collaborate with Lead Technicians, Project Managers, and client stakeholders to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet scope requirements.
  • Identify installation challenges and proactively communicate solutions before they impact project timelines.
