Associate Software Engineer

About The Position
ASRC Agile Decision Sciences is seeking Software Engineers to join its team in Huntsville, Alabama. The role supports real-time, mission-critical defense systems and involves working in an Agile team environment. Team members actively participate in sprints and other Agile processes, as well as software development and testing. The position requires an in-person, closed-area work environment and an active Secret security clearance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field.
- 0–2 years of related experience.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Linux operating system experience.
- Object-oriented C++ or Java software development experience.
- Embedded software development experience.
- Experience with CMake and Gtest.
- Ability to support an in-person, closed-area work environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using DevSecOps tools and methods, including Jenkins, Ansible, and Git/GitLab.
- Experience using Agile project management tools, including Jira and Confluence.
- Experience in Product Owner or Scrum Master roles.
- Prior experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs and/or systems.
- Knowledge of SysUML.
- Security+ certification.
