About The Position

Provides Assistive Technology services in accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and in compliance with the professional state licensing agency under which the practitioner provides services for children receiving special education services in HISD. Assesses, plans, organizes, and participates in the delivery of assistive technology services to facilitate students with disabilities to participate in instructional programs designated in the student’s individualized educational program.

  • Must hold a professional state license for the services provided
  • Must be knowledgeable of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act

Responsibilities
