About The Position

Centerpoint is a 16-bed Intensive Residential Treatment Program (IRTP) for emotionally disturbed adolescent males. The primary mission of Centerpoint is the treatment and rehabilitation of adolescent males with mental illness and challenging behaviors. Centerpoint provides a secure, clinically intensive residential program that enhances growth and coping skills. The program’s ultimate goal is to enable each resident to attain optimal psychological and social growth; to transition to a less restrictive setting and eventually into the greater community. We are looking for a part-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to deliver comprehensive support across various skills, including communication, social interaction, education, and daily living. This will primarily involve creating programs tailored to the unique needs of each client.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years or older.
  • Master’s Degree.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Afternoon into early evening availability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organization skills.
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial Functional Behavioral Assessment’s.
  • Develop treatment plans and behavior support strategies.
  • Provide training, support, and guidance to program staff and families to ensure effective implementation of the plans.
