About The Position

Budd Van Lines is looking for a Programmer / Systems Analyst. This position analyzes business and systems requirements, develops technical solutions, maintains application integrations, performs testing and troubleshooting, and documents development and systems changes. The position also provides technical expertise and support related to internally developed applications, databases, integrations, and associated systems as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant software development/systems analysis experience, including substantial experience with the technologies listed below, with appropriate consideration given to the availability and maturity of newer technologies.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Full-time on-site availability required

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, maintain, and enhance new and existing software applications
  • Maintain source code using Git version control.
  • Develop and maintain applications and integrations using JavaScript/TypeScript, as applicable.
  • Document all development and systems work
  • Perform unit and integration testing, where applicable
  • Maintain accurate documentation and status of development projects, tasks, and system changes
  • Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL Server, and other company databases, as applicable
  • Create and work with databases on multiple platform environments
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
