About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics; other bachelor’s or higher degrees may be considered.
• Completion of one ASA exam equivalent, based on the Society of Actuaries’ Education and Examination System specifications.
• Verbal and written communication skills to prepare effective documentation, facilitate training and development, and participate in presentations.
• PC proficiency, including Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Access, SQL, Visual Basic, or other programming skills.
• Actuarial internship or actuarial experience in health insurance or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Participate in implementing, maintaining, and conducting basic analysis of actuarial models, studies, and systems.
• Support actuarial functions including pricing, underwriting, statistics, reserving, and forecasting.
• Run, build, and analyze results of basic models.
• Develop oral and written presentation skills and learn basic business and actuarial concepts.
