About The Position

This position participates in the implementation, maintenance, and basic analysis of models, studies, and systems that use actuarial principles for pricing, underwriting, statistics, reserving, forecasting, and other actuarial functions. The role runs, builds, and analyzes results of basic models, develops oral and written presentation skills, and learns basic business and actuarial concepts.

This is a Flex (Hybrid) role, with three days in the office and two days remote. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics; other bachelor's or higher degrees may be considered.
• Completion of one ASA exam equivalent based on the Society of Actuaries’ Education and Examination System.
• Verbal and written communication skills to prepare effective documentation, facilitate training and development, and participate in presentations.
• PC proficiency, including Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Access, SQL, Visual Basic, or other programming skills.
• Actuarial internship or actuarial experience in health insurance or a related field.
