About The Position
At WorldTrips, a member of the Tokio Marine HCC group of companies, the Actuarial Analyst supports underwriting units with reinsurance and pricing support, budget support, and key statistics and results. WorldTrips is a global provider of specialty travel medical and trip protection insurance. This is a hybrid position requiring three days in the office in Carmel, Indiana.
Requirements
- Four-year/bachelor’s degree.
- Relevant and progressive professional experience.
- Knowledge of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to the applicable area of the company’s business.
- Dependability.
Responsibilities
- Analyze claims and premium information for quarterly reserving, commutations, and pool arrangements.
- Analyze data for other reserving-related tasks, including rating agency presentations, annual statement schedules, and SEC-required documents.
- Analyze and evaluate lines of business to project loss ratios for future business, and produce reports for underwriting, management, or reinsurers.
- Analyze and input payment patterns for budget purposes.
- Support merger and acquisition efforts as required.
- Assist with actuarial reserving as required.
