About The Position

The Actuarial Analyst participates in implementing, maintaining, and conducting basic analyses of models, studies, and systems that apply actuarial principles to pricing, underwriting, statistics, reserving, forecasting, and other actuarial functions. The role involves running, building, and analyzing the results of basic models, developing oral and written presentation skills, and learning fundamental business and actuarial concepts. This is a hybrid role requiring three days in the office each week at one of the posted locations. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics; other bachelor's or higher degrees may be considered.
Completion of one ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) exam equivalent, based on the Society of Actuaries’ Education and Examination System.
Verbal and written communication skills to prepare effective documentation, facilitate training and development, and participate in presentations.
PC proficiency, including Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

ACA pricing and Individual/Small Group market experience.
Proficiency in SQL, Access, VBA, or similar programming tools.
Health insurance actuarial experience.
Strong analytical and data modeling skills.

Responsibilities
