About The Position
Are you known for your thoroughness, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills? Do you enjoy working with numbers, overseeing financial transactions, and ensuring the smooth running of accounting operations? This opportunity could be for you! We are looking for an Accounting Technician to support our team in the day-to-day execution of accounting activities. In this role, you will be actively involved in various tasks throughout the accounting cycle in a dynamic environment where accuracy, collaboration, and attention to detail are crucial.
Requirements
- Hold a Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in Accounting or a related field
- Have one to three years of accounting experience
- Demonstrate intermediate proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Be methodical, organized, and detail-oriented
Nice To Haves
- Have experience working in a multi-currency context (an asset)
Responsibilities
- Preparing and issuing multi-currency invoices
- Recording customer payments in the accounting system
- Managing transactional portals and websites
- Assisting with the processing and recording of vendor invoices
- Reviewing invoices and processing supplier payments
- Preparing and entering multi-currency expense reports
- Performing various reconciliations, follow-ups, and analyses
- Completing other related tasks as required
