About the position
As the Director of Motive Cards Sales for the Commercial and Mid-Market segments, you will play a crucial role in leading the sales team for Motive's newest product, the Motive Card. Your responsibilities will include building and managing the sales team, developing the go-to-market strategy, and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for engaging and closing top prospects, exceeding revenue targets, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to achieve sales goals. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic planning, and a focus on driving results.
Responsibilities
- Lead a world-class field Sales team, partnering to close new logos and expand current customers
- Develop and execute on strategic plans for your team to meet or exceed revenue quota over monthly, quarterly, and annual levels
- Track progress and success of the team against various primary KPIs, making optimizations as necessary to deliver on top-level objectives
- Develop key programs that support the team’s ongoing development and consistent execution across all AE’s
- Cultivate a culture of high-performance, accountability, and a focus on always-on improvement
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership and cross-functional partners (Sales Ops, Sales Development, Finance, Enablement, & Marketing) to hit stated goals on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis.

- 5+ years of experience managing Mid-Market and/or Enterprise sales professionals
- 3+ years of experience closing F1000 clients in corporate cards and spend management
