About the position
As a Computer Vision Engineer at Motive, you will be part of a passionate team dedicated to bringing intelligence to the world of trucks. Your role will involve designing and implementing complex computer vision systems, improving the performance of existing models and algorithms, and building and optimizing CV/ML algorithms for real-time performance. You will have the opportunity to work with a high-caliber team of experienced researchers and engineers in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Robotics. Your work will contribute to improving fleet safety, saving millions of dollars, and making the roads safer.
Responsibilities
- Improve the performance of models and algorithms already in production
- Build and optimize computer vision/machine learning algorithms for real-time performance on the embedded platform
- Write proficient Python and C++ code to build and improve computer vision algorithms, machine learning services, training, model compression, and porting pipelines
- Convert state-of-the-art research prototypes into reliably working product features
- Collaborate with R&D team in computer vision, machine learning, and robotics, as well as ML platform, embedded, backend, and frontend teams
Requirements
