About the position
In this role, you will be responsible for executing and supporting the people strategy for Operations within Careem. You will work closely with the business to anticipate and resolve people-related queries and issues across multiple geographies. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams within the People Team to implement programs around career development, talent attraction, talent management, performance management, and learning and development. The role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage rapid growth while fostering a collaborative and fun culture. Fluency in Arabic is a requirement for this role.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the business to anticipate and resolve people-related queries/issues across multiple geographies
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to provide solutions for hiring needs
- Manage and collaborate with 3rd party vendors
- Collaborate with COEs within the People Team to implement programs around career development, talent attraction, talent management, performance management, and L&D programs
- Seek and listen to feedback from colleagues and managers in a Remote First environment
- Drive continuous feedback process and encourage participation in periodic surveys
- Analyze and leverage people data to understand colleague engagement and its impact on organizational performance
- Recommend solutions to improve outcomes in talent management
- Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Fluency in Arabic is required for this role
- Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Organizational Psychology, with a preference for a Masters/MBA and CIPD certification
- 6-8 years of experience in an HR generalist role, preferably in a high tech environment
- Experience working with dispersed teams, supporting organizational change initiatives, and implementing talent management plans
Requirements

- Bachelor degree in HR Management, Organizational Psychology with a Masters /MBA preferred. CIPD or certification preferred.
