About the position
As the HR Business Partner at Blank Street, you will play a crucial role in driving employee engagement and implementing people solutions across the organization. Working closely with company leaders, you will be responsible for developing scalable programs, identifying needs, and driving change in a rapidly-growing and diverse organization. Your role will involve balancing the responsibilities of a business partner and an employee champion, while executing the people strategy and creating an exceptional employee experience. This in-person role will require occasional travel within NYC and to outer markets.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted people partner for Field and HQ teams across the East Coast, North America.
- Assist in developing and implementing People Team initiatives focusing on employee retention, engagement, development, recognition, compensation, and talent management.
- Proactively assess employee needs by leveraging people metrics, gather data, provide insights, and recommend appropriate solutions to enhance the employee experience.
- Act as the point of contact for employee relations cases, managing and resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Partner with Learning & Org Development and Operations to support programs in training, development, career mobility, and performance.
- Collaborate on strategies and approaches to diagnose and enhance company effectiveness.
- Plan and facilitate various HR-related activities and events.
- Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive in the market.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- HR certification is a plus.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within NYC and to outer markets.
