About the position

The job overview for this position is that the company is seeking a Global Compliance and Audit Manager to join their People team. The manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with global regulations, internal policies, and best practices. They will oversee audit processes across various HR functions, identify risks, implement controls, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global compliance strategies and programs for the HR department to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Partner with the internal audits and risk team to run assessments and identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
  • Design and maintain comprehensive compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures to address legal and ethical requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR teams worldwide to establish standardized processes and controls to mitigate risks and maintain compliance across.
  • Requirements

  • Provide guidance and training to HR teams on compliance matters, including data protection, anti-discrimination, and diversity initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and inspections, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, patterns, and potential compliance gaps.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of internal and external stakeholders to exchange knowledge, benchmark best practices, and ensure compliance excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by recommending and implementing process enhancements and automation tools to streamline compliance and audit procedures.
