About the position
The Associate Director - Commercial & Special Projects at Careem will be responsible for identifying strategic projects that drive growth and enhance the reliability of the Ride Hailing service. This role requires strong project management, stakeholder management, communication, data analytics, and strategic planning skills. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and lead special projects, build relationships with government partners, and deliver against key performance indicators. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving people's lives, a focus on excellence and customer service, and alignment with Careem's core values.
Responsibilities
- Design, pursue, and lead special projects through to implementation with the support of cross-functional teams
- Build deep relationships with key stakeholders, including government partners, and lead critical business negotiations
- Work with a cross-functional team to deliver against the team's key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Collaborate with product management, communications, and marketing teams
- Have a passionate commitment to improving people's lives and a focus on excellence and customer service
- Deliver against ambitious KPIs with 5-7 years of experience
- Hands-on experience in project and program management
- Strong data orientation
