About the position
aPriori is seeking a Business Partner and Talent Development Manager who will be responsible for accelerating employee development and driving employee growth and business results. The role involves determining stakeholder needs, designing and facilitating training programs, managing the learning management system, evaluating training effectiveness, and enhancing the onboarding and performance management processes. Additionally, the manager will serve as a trusted thought partner to managers and leaders, collaborating on employee relations, talent management, and compliance with HR policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Determine stakeholder needs, develop a talent roadmap, design and/or outsource training, and facilitate training that supports aPriori's learning and development philosophy and talent strategy.
- Develop materials to promote and communicate learning initiatives.
- Manage both virtual and in-person classrooms and participants during training.
- Responsible for aPriori's LMS system including curriculum assignment and governance.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance aPriori's new hire onboarding program.
- Assess effectiveness of training and learning solutions and programs through data analytics.
- Contribute to the design, training, and execution of enhancements to the performance management process.
- Design and execute a career conversation framework that complements the performance management process.
- Design, own, and execute a mentor program that supports key strategic priorities, including designing and leading training for mentors and mentees.
- Establish and maintain strong, trusting relationships with managers and leaders; serve as a trusted thought partner, influencing, coaching, and providing guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues on matters related to employee relations, talent and performance management, talent acquisition, total rewards, and employee development.
- Ensure program compliance with local, state, and federal regulations on established internal HR policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with the performance management program, advise, and support managers.
