About the position
Mindvalley is seeking a Cybersecurity/Administrator Manager to join their team. The role involves managing security within the Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace environments, leveraging tools for security monitoring and threat detection, conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, and evaluating cloud and IT infrastructures against industry best practices. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity.
Responsibilities
- Manage security within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Workspace (GWS) environments.
- Leverage cloud native and open-source tools for security monitoring and threat detection.
- Maintain the security command centers in GCP and GWS.
- Implement access controls and maintain the integrity of user credentials.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify potential threats.
- Document findings, recommend corrective actions, and monitor their implementation.
- Evaluate cloud and IT infrastructures against industry standard best practices.
- Perform technical gap analysis and make recommendations for improvements.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and threat landscape pertaining to cloud and IT security.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity.
