About the position
The Customer Project Manager role at G-P involves leading strategic and complex projects for the company's most valuable customers, ensuring a seamless implementation of G-P's products. This includes coordinating internal resources, meeting project deadlines, and proactively communicating and mitigating risks. The role also involves developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, supporting the sales team in discussions regarding mergers and acquisitions, and becoming a subject matter expert on transitions for professionals globally. Additionally, the Customer Project Manager contributes to the development of the G-P Platform and participates in cross-functional projects to enhance the customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic and complex projects for G-P's most valuable customers
- Ensure seamless implementation of G-P's products for customers
- Work closely with Customer Success Manager to meet customer needs and objectives
- Coordinate internal resources for flawless project execution
- Communicate and mitigate risks and issues
- Conduct post-project evaluation and drive continuous improvement
- Develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Support Sales team in discussions regarding M&A and complex matters
- Become a subject matter expert on transitions for Professionals globally
- Share success stories with Customer Success Managers to drive engagement
- Participate in cross-functional projects to improve customer experience
- Contribute to the development of the G-P Platform
- Maintain strong knowledge of G-P's product landscape and business priorities
- Possess 5 years of experience in customer-facing roles
- Demonstrate experience in driving complex projects to completion
- Have strong project management and prioritization skills
- Be self-motivated and capable of taking ownership over work
- Be an assertive problem-solver
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Project Management, or another customer-facing role
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
- Demonstrable experience in driving complex projects to completion
- Experience with project management and prioritization across multiple accounts at any given time. Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
- Self-motivated with the ability to own and drive initiatives to completion; capable of taking full ownership over their work when required
- Assertive problem-solver who can respond quickly
