About the position
As a Human Resources Specialist at G-P, you will be responsible for supporting professionals engaged on behalf of clients and managing the back-end HR, accounting, and legal service providers for international entities. Your role will involve handling key employee life cycle processes, negotiating employment contracts, managing payroll providers and HR advisors, and responding to client queries on international hiring and HR matters. Additionally, you will serve as the regional expert for all HR functions, manage client relationships, and work with the operations team to identify and implement service improvements. This position requires a BS/BA degree in HR or related fields, 5-10 years of HR experience, knowledge of labor legislation in Singapore, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Support key employee life cycle processes such as on-boarding, data management, transfers, leavers, payroll setup, and benefit enrollments
- Provide senior level support to clients by negotiating employment contracts and on-boarding employees in various countries
- Manage local payroll providers, benefits brokers, HR advisors, and other partners
- Respond to client queries and advise on benefits, international payroll, expense reporting, and other HR matters
- Handle terminations, including attending calls and/or in-person meetings as the company's local representative
- Handle work pass (EP) application and cancellation
- Serve as the regional expert for all human resources functions
- Manage client relationships and resolve client queries
- Work with the client and operations teams to identify and manage service improvement activities
- Have a BS/BA Degree or higher in Human Resources, International Business, Accounting, Law, or other depending on experience
- Have 5-10 years of previous Human Resources experience
- Have intermediate knowledge of labor legislation throughout Singapore
- Have excellent written and spoken language skills
- Have experience interacting with people internationally
- Have resourceful problem-solving aptitude
- Have the ability to work in an international team comprised of team members in different locations and from different backgrounds.
