About the position
The Customer Project Manager at G-P is responsible for leading strategic and complex projects for the company's most valuable customers. They work closely with the Customer Success Manager to ensure project plans and execution meet customer needs and objectives. The Customer Project Manager coordinates internal resources, communicates and mitigates risks, and conducts post-project evaluations to drive continuous improvement. They also develop strong relationships with stakeholders, support the sales team in complex matters, and contribute to the development of the G-P Platform. This role requires 5 years of experience in customer-facing roles and a strong background in project management.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic and complex projects for G-P's most valuable customers
- Ensure seamless implementation of G-P's products for customers
- Partner closely with Customer Success Manager to meet customer needs and objectives
- Coordinate internal resources for flawless project execution
- Communicate and mitigate risks and issues
- Conduct post-project evaluation and drive continuous improvement
- Develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Support Sales team in discussions regarding M&A and complex matters
- Become a subject matter expert on transitions for Professionals globally
- Share success stories with Customer Success Managers to drive engagement
- Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance customer experience
- Contribute to the development of the G-P Platform
- Build and maintain knowledge of G-P's product landscape and business priorities
- Have 5 years of experience in customer-facing roles
- Possess project management skills and experience
- Be self-motivated and capable of taking ownership of work
- Be a problem-solver who can respond quickly to challenges.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Project Management, or another customer-facing role
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
- Demonstrable experience in driving complex projects to completion
- Experience with project management and prioritization across multiple accounts at any given time. Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
- Self-motivated with the ability to own and drive initiatives to completion; capable of taking full ownership over their work when required
- Assertive problem-solver who can respond quickly to challenges.
