About the position
The Business Systems Manager is responsible for implementing and managing systems, improving performance and processes, and enhancing productivity through data-driven reporting. They will serve as the system administrator and liaison for internal business applications, drive business process improvements, ensure seamless data flow and system integration, and collaborate with business leaders on strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is a problem solver dedicated to streamlining business processes and producing high-quality results. They should have experience in IT business systems management, strong Salesforce knowledge, and expertise in software system deployments.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the implementation and management of systems
- Identify areas for improvement in performance and processes
- Develop strategies to enhance productivity and access to accurate and timely data
- Act as the system administrator and liaison to third-party contractors for internal business applications
- Drive business process improvements and streamline operations
- Ensure seamless and accurate data transfer between systems
- Collaborate with business leaders to align team efforts and priorities
- Manage complex business systems implementation, transformations, and integrations
- Maintain open and transparent communication around project deliverables, budget, and scope
- Provide problem-solving support and guidance to internal customers
- Own reporting, status updates, and KPI metrics
- Drive change management practices for rapid deployment of changes
- Coach and educate peers and business partners on best practices for business systems
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, data analytics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience managing IT Business systems or BizOps teams
- Strong Salesforce experience and knowledge
- Experience with ERP systems and processes
- Experience in software business system deployments
- Deep understanding of core business processes and ability to integrate acquired business
- Ability to focus and work hard in a fast-paced environment
- Experience implementing business systems, including data and data structures, integrations, and deployment
- Keen intellect and comfort with complexity
- Detail-oriented and consistently delivers high-quality work
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid position in the New York City office
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, data analytics, or a closely related field
- 5+ years of experience managing IT Business systems or BizOps teams
