Business Development Specialist

The job overview for this role is that the Business Development Executive will be responsible for signing partnership agreements between foodpanda and the best-in-class restaurants and shops. They will drive B2B sales, seek and secure new partnerships, and act as a local market expert by providing recommendations for the best restaurants and shops in Malaysia. The role also involves gathering feedback, monitoring competitor activity, and conducting cold calls and in-person meetings to sell foodpanda services to potential vendors. The Business Development Executive is expected to exceed sales targets and performance-based goals while working independently.

• Drive B2B sales and secure new partnerships with vendors
• Have a keen interest in the food and beverage industry and sign up the best local and international vendors
• Act as a local market expert and provide recommendations for the best restaurants and shops in Malaysia
• Gather feedback from restaurants and shops, monitor competitor activity, and provide recommendations for improvements to management
• Conduct cold calls, walk-ins, and schedule in-person meetings to sell foodpanda services to potential vendors
• Exceed sales targets and performance-based goals while working independently
