About the position
As a Business Development Executive at foodpanda, your main responsibility will be to sign partnership agreements between foodpanda and top-notch restaurants and shops. You will be driving B2B sales, seeking and securing new partnerships with vendors in the food and beverage industry. Additionally, you will act as the local market expert, providing recommendations on the best restaurants and shops in Malaysia. Your role will also involve gathering feedback, monitoring competitor activity, and making recommendations for improvements. Overall, you will be the brand ambassador, conducting cold calls, scheduling meetings, and selling foodpanda services to potential vendors.

- Have a passion for the food and beverage industry and sign up the best local and international vendors
- Be knowledgeable about the best restaurants and shops in Malaysia and provide recommendations
- Gather feedback from restaurants and shops, monitor competitor activity, and provide recommendations for improvements to management
- Conduct cold calls and walk-ins, schedule in-person meetings, and sell foodpanda service to potential vendors
- Exceed sales targets and performance-based goals while working independently
- Become part of the international network and high skilled team
